Six Years of Being a Professional PMP Trainer!

Today is my 6-year anniversary with OSP International LLC, which means that I have been "my own boss", independent business owner and most importantly a professional PMP trainer for longer than I was employed at most of my previous jobs. It's been quite a ride for me!

In 2005 my wife gave me an iPod as a birthday present. 10 months later I launched The PM Podcast with the intention of helping project managers improve their skills. Another year later I combined my love for teaching PMP exam prep with my podcasting expertise and launched the first podcast for PMP exam preparation. And just another year later my two "hobbies" had grown so much that I had to decide whether I was going to do this full-time or stop doing it all together.

I'm glad I chose the first option. And I hope that my 25,000 podcast listeners and 30,000 PMP students will agree.

Granted... I have never worked longer hours because having your own business means dedication and hard work. But seeing that my efforts have helped so many people pass their exams and learning that project managers from around the world enjoy my PM Podcast interviews is a incomparable thrill. The positive feedback I get is a constant pat on the back for me that is literally pushing me forward.

So to all my students and listeners out there: Thank you for letting me be your guide.
