Very Funny PMP Exam Sample Question
This was posted by Fai in a Google Group today. Hilarious:
If you throw two managers off the roof of a building 1,500 feet above Rockefeller Plaza under a full moon, how fast will the Functional Manager (FM) and Project Manager (PM) fall?
A. The PM falls at 72 seconds per question, and the FM just splats.
B. The PM has already considered this risk in her risk management plan and has developed a contingency parachute. She lands safely, after watching the FM go splat.
C. The PM's probability of falling times the expected monetary value of his loss to the project is $5,000. He's therefore expendable, and knows it. The FM is totally worthless and just splats.
D. The PM falls at an acceleration of 32 ft/sec squared (until reaching terminal velocity as a result of air pressure). He's doomed but takes comfort in knowing the precise rate of his descent. The FM is a lightweight and is immediately buoyed and wafted by an air cushion, his descent is slowed, he's clueless how fast, but eventually he falls splat no matter what.
I guess this is one of those times when finding the best answer can only be achieved by eliminating the obviously wrong ones... :-)
